Welcome to Sood Food. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Customer", "You") and Sood Food ("Company", "We", "Us", or "Our"), governing your access to and use of soodfood.in, our mobile-optimized platforms, and the purchase of any products offered on our platform.

By browsing, registering, or placing an order on our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return, Replacement & Refund Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.


1. Eligibility

By using this website, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or are accessing the platform under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
  • All information submitted by you during registration, checkout, or communication is true, accurate, current, and complete.

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username, password, and account credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately at connect@soodfood.in upon suspecting any unauthorized access or security breach.
  • Sood Food shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss resulting from your failure to maintain account security.

3. Product Information & Disclaimers

  • We make every effort to display accurate product images, nutritional facts, ingredient lists, net quantities, and batch details.
  • Natural Variations: As our products involve natural spices and food ingredients, slight variations in color, aroma, grain texture, and taste are intrinsic to agricultural produce and shall not be deemed product defects.
  • Packaging & Display: Actual product packaging and colour tones may vary slightly from online representations due to digital screen calibrations, lighting, and packaging updates.

4. Pricing & Transparent Billing

  • All prices on soodfood.in are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Prices are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly indicated otherwise during the checkout process before payment.
  • Any applicable shipping, handling, or convenience fees will be clearly calculated and displayed before you finalize your order. There are no hidden fees.
  • We reserve the right to revise prices at any time. If an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a clerical or technical error, Sood Food reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full, prompt refund.

5. Orders & Contract Formation

  • Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is deemed accepted only when Sood Food validates the transaction and issues an Order Confirmation / Dispatch Notification via email. SMS or WhatsAap .
  • Sood Food reserves the right to decline, restrict, or cancel any order for reasons including stock non-availability, inaccuracies in product/pricing data, suspicion of fraud, or unserviceable delivery locations. In such cases, full refunds will be credited via the original payment method.

6. Payments & Data Security

We offer secure, transparent digital payment methods:

  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, etc.)
  • Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, American Express)
  • Net Banking (across all major Indian commercial banks)
  • Authorized Digital Wallets
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) (available for eligible PIN codes and order thresholds)

All digital transactions are processed through RBI-authorized, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways with end-to-end encryption. Sood Food does not store or process your complete debit/credit card numbers or CVVs.

7. Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy

  • COD availability is subject to real-time verification against courier partner coverage and order cart value.
  • We maintain a Zero Tolerance Policy against abusive or fraudulent COD practices. Repeated delivery refusals without valid justification, bogus orders, or false delivery addresses may result in:
    • Permanent restriction or revocation of the COD payment option.
    • Suspension or termination of the user account.
    • Recovery of reverse logistics costs where legally permissible under Indian law.

8. Shipping, Delivery & Tracking

  • Deliveries are operated through verified third-party logistics partners across serviceable Indian postal codes.
  • Estimated delivery timeframes are indicative and depend on destination, transit factors, weather events, or regional holidays.

9. Returns, Replacements & Refunds

  • Our policy on damaged goods, missing items, product dissatisfaction, and reverse pickups is governed by the Sood Food Return, Replacement & Refund Policy, available on our website.
  • Approved refunds are credited directly to the original payment source (or designated bank account for COD orders) within standard banking turnaround times (typically 5 to 7 business days).

10. Promotional Codes & Offers

  • Promotional coupons, seasonal discounts, and loyalty perks are valid only within stated promotional periods and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred.
  • Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be stacked or combined with other promotional campaigns. Sood Food reserves the authority to withdraw or modify promotional terms without prior notice.

11. Food Safety & Allergen Advisory

  • Customers are strongly advised to read all ingredient declarations, allergen statements, manufacturing dates, and "Best Before" labels on the physical product prior to consumption.
  • If you have known food sensitivities, dietary limitations, or allergies, exercise personal caution. Sood Food shall not be held liable for adverse reactions caused by consumer sensitivities to standard food ingredients declared on the package.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

All content published on soodfood.in—including brand names, trademarks, visual logos, packaging designs, product photography, editorial copy, proprietary recipes, icons, and software code—is the intellectual property of Sood Food and protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and Trade Marks Act, 1999. Unauthorized copying, modification, or commercial re-distribution without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

13. Prohibited User Activities

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Place speculative, deceptive, or fraudulent transactions.
  • Interfere with network integrity, introduce viruses, logic bombs, or malicious code.
  • Use automated scrapers, bots, or extraction scripts without express written permission.
  • Engage in conduct that defames, abuses, harasses, or violates the legal rights of Sood Food, our staff, or other users.

Violations will lead to immediate account termination and potential reporting to law enforcement authorities under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

14. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Sood Food, its partners, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from website downtime, server outages, delivery delays caused by external carriers, or customer-side input errors (e.g., incorrect shipping address).
  • In all circumstances, Sood Food’s maximum aggregate liability shall be strictly limited to the actual amount paid by you for the specific order under dispute.

15. Force Majeure

Sood Food shall not be held accountable or liable for non-performance or delayed fulfilment resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of God, flood, fire, epidemics, transport blockades, labour strikes, civil disruptions, or systemic internet/telecommunication shutdowns.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms and any associated contracts shall be governed by, construed, and interpreted in accordance with the substantive laws of India.
  • Any disputes, controversies, or claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.

17. Severability & Updates

  • If any provision in these Terms is declared unlawful, void, or unenforceable by an authorized court, that provision will be severed without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining sections.
  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms at our discretion. Revisions become effective immediately upon posting to this URL. Your continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of the amended terms.
