At Sood Food, we prioritize delivering fresh, authentic food products securely and promptly across India. This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines our fulfilment process, estimated transit times, shipping rates, and customer responsibilities.


By completing a purchase on soodfood.in, you accept the terms outlined below.


1. Order Processing & Verification

  • Handling Time: All orders are prepared and handed over to our delivery partners within 1 to 2 business days (Monday – Saturday) following payment confirmation or Cash on Delivery (COD) verification.
  • Cut-Off Times: Orders placed after 5:00 PM IST, on Sundays, or on statutory public holidays are queued for processing the subsequent business day.
  • Order Verification: All COD orders undergo phone or WhatsApp verification prior to packing. Dispatch is contingent on successful verification and real-time inventory availability.


2. Delivery Timelines & Shipping Coverage

  • Service Area: We ship to serviceable pin codes throughout India. We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
  • Carrier Partners: Shipments are routed through licensed national logistics carriers
  • Transit Duration: Standard delivery generally takes 6 to 8 business days post-dispatch, depending on destination proximity:
  • Transit Delays: Estimated delivery times are indicative. Deliveries may experience unavoidable delays due to adverse weather, natural events, regional holidays, state border restrictions, or courier operational bottlenecks.


3. Shipping Rates & Payment-Based Charges

All charges are transparently calculated and displayed at checkout before order finalization.

Note: Cash on Delivery verification is mandatory. Sood Food reserves the right to decline unverified COD orders or disable COD privileges for profiles with repeated unaccepted shipments.


4. Order Tracking

  • Tracking Link: Within 24 hours of courier pickup, an active tracking link along with the Air Waybill (AWB) number is transmitted via Email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
  • Tracking Sync: Logistics databases may require up to 24 hours from handover to show real-time status updates on their public tracking portals.


5. Delivery Coordination & Undelivered Packages (RTO)

  • Recipient Availability: Couriers make up to 3 delivery attempts. Please ensure your contact number is reachable and the shipping address includes landmarks and correct postal codes.
  • Proof of Delivery: Delivery is deemed complete once handed over to the designated address and acknowledged by the recipient, security desk, or authorized premise personnel.
  • Return to Origin (RTO): If a shipment is returned to our facility due to an incomplete/incorrect address, non-response to courier calls, or unjustified refusal:
    • Re-Dispatch: Re-shipping can be requested upon settlement of the fresh forward-shipping cost.
    • Prepaid Order Cancellations: If an undelivered prepaid parcel is cancelled, refunds are processed strictly after deducting the carrier's incurred forward and reverse transit fees.


6. Damaged, Tampered, or Missing Items

Food products require prompt attention upon arrival. If your package arrives compromised:

  • Reporting Window: Report any transit damage, seal tampering, or missing items within 24 hours of recorded delivery.
  • Mandatory Documentation:
    • A continuous, unedited video recording of the unboxing from initial outer seal-break.
    • Clear photographs of the shipping label with visible AWB numbers.
    • Clear photographs of the damaged product or missing parcel contents.


  • Resolution: Upon review by our quality control desk, valid claims will be eligible for immediate replacement or refund as per our Return & Refund Policy. Claims submitted without proper verification media cannot be honored.
